How to Build a Better You
Ever feel completely frustrated by the things happening in your environment around you? The next time you find yourself in this position, try asking yourself, “What can I control? What can I improve?”
The concept of building a better you hinges on the understanding of the simple fact there are a number of things that you cannot change. Those things that you cannot change can be frustrating, confusing, and even make you angry at times. But remember, the only thing you can do is control those things that are within your power.
How can you accomplish this mindset? How can you build a better you?
Take control of how you react and how you communicate your reactions to others.
And consider this - Commiserating on things that are frustrating and negative to your friends may make you feel better momentarily, but if you cannot make changes to fix those issues, this is really not a platform to make it a brighter or better day.
Instead, here’s what you can do:
Think about some of these frustrations that really cannot be changed in the big scheme of things.
Next, take a moment as you enter these conversations to discern what is it that you can control and how you can make the world a better place.
Be motivated to build a better mindset, a better you, and a better community. You deserve it!
